    1. Naples: Small-Group Positano and Amalfi Boat Tour

After being picked-up at 8:30 AM at the meeting point of the Star Hotel Naples Terminus, you will be transferred to the port of Piano di Sorrento. From here you will depart to Amalfi, sailing along the Sorrento Coast. Along the way you can admire the ancient fishermen village of “Marina Grande”, the ruins of a Roman villa near “Bagni della Regina Giovanna”, the natural waterfall that flows from the rock, Ieranto bay and other interesting attractions along the coast. There will be a couple of stops for swimming and snorkeling, and a relaxing break with snacks and drinks will be offered on board. You will then stop for 1 to 2 hours in Amalfi to visit the ancient Maritime Republic, before stopping for 1 to 2 hours in Positano to explore the “pearl” of the Amalfi Coast. You will depart for Sorrento after a local limoncello tasting, and once back in Naples you will be returned to the Star Ho...

Apart from a few small issues, this was a very nice experience. First thing you need to know is that the trip starts with a bus transportation to Sorrento, which takes a big more than an hour. In our case we also had some waiting time for a smaller bus to take us from a parking to the harbour. But from the moment we got on the boat, everything was great! The boat is very nice and comfortable (make sure to get to the front before others!). Both on the way and back we got a chance for a swim. There were two stops, in Amalfi and Positano, both very nice little town. Our guide was very knowledgable and had a lot of info regarding the things we saw on the way. Unfortunately her English pronounciation was a bit difficult to understand. Food and drinks on the boat were simple but quite plentiful and good quality. All in all, the trip was very pleasant and well worth the money.

100% recommendation! Definitely the highlight of our Italy trip. The boat trip itself was really fun, very well organized and full of interesting facts. Capri itself is not necessary our cup of tea, just really really crowded, which we didn’t enjoy during a pandemic (beautiful island otherwise!). But we’d do it again for the boat trip and the swim stops alone. (And we have snorkelled on Kauai, Maui and in the Caribbean Sea before ;))

Amazing all round! Roberta and Nello were our skippers / drivers, the views and sightseeing on the way to Capri are amazing and informative! Really enjoyed the trip and definitely worth doing!

Awesome tour with Cesca and Frederico. Cesca was a great guide and Frederico a great captain. Very professional. A lot of fun on the boat ride, with a good crew.

Really enjoyed it, time on Capri is a bit too long as too crowded.
