Apart from saving a bit of money having the 3 day pass makes travel and entry into sights so easy and safe. Just one card to keep in your pocket and not having to keep getting a wallet out to pay a few euros for a Metro or train. We also bypassed queues for entry to Pompeii. Well worth it.

The three day pass was good but working out how to get it was not. I would suggest getting it at the airport as I can only hope that It is easier. We decided to get it from Garabaldi Central Train Station. When we arrived at the Station and went to the tourist information ℹ️ point she sent us round the corner to a news agents (tabacchi) to collect our ticket. We then had to wait 20 minutes as the person who knew how to produce the tickets was on lunch. Luckily we had given ourselves plenty of time to get to Herculaneum. Once we had our ticket it proved to be good value. We travelled by train to Herculaneum and Pompeii and got free entry to both and also used the Ticket on the metro for other trips. If you have children you can purchase a day ticket at any Tabbachi near a Station or Metro. One other thing if travelling to Pompeii, Herculaneum or Sorrento and you would like a seat just a 5 min walk from Garibaldi Train Station is Porta Nolana Station much easier.

The pass was great! Got into Pompeii and the Naples archaeological museum. It also paid for our train there and back as well as giving us 1/2 price at another attraction close by. The only thing I didn't like was where we had to exchange the vouchers for tickets. The shop owners had a hard time understanding us and when it was time to scan our tickets they took my phone behind a wall that we couldn't see. This made us very nervous as all of our travel information was on my phone. So I highly recommend printing off the vouchers to hand over at the meeting spot.
