Full description

Depart from your hotel in Naples or Sorrento by private car or minivan with a professional and multilingual driver, and head towards your first stop. Arrive at Sorrento and enjoy 1 hour of free time to stroll around the city. Head back to your transfer and depart to Amalfi, crossing the Sorrentina peninsula. On the way, stop in a beautiful landscape for pictures to capture your memories. Upon arrival in Amalfi village, explore the characteristic narrow streets of this quaint town at your own leisure for approximately 1 hours. Stop for lunch and allow your driver to suggest some good places. Move on to Amalfi and stop in Flavio Gioia square to visit the famous Cathedral of San Andrea. Antonio was our driver. Very polite, an excellent driver, understood English but not a conversationalist. Have to agree with others that he was more a taxi driver than a guide. He was on time, car was immaculate, took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch, and allowed us a little leeway on time when asked. If you want to extend time at a location, its better to ask before being dropped off as drivers cannot park and wait for long before Police come around and make them leave. A bit pricey (we had 5 people) but we saw more in one day than we would have on our own. Recommended for the drop-off/pick-up locations, as parking a rental would have been difficult and involve a lot of walking. Know that driving is half of the tour time.
