From the beginning of our tour it was obvious that our tour guide Ross loved sharing his knowledge of the area with us all. The tour was a culmination of the city centre of Napier and its fascinating art deco buildings and the tour extended to a trip to the countryside to view the vineyards and farmlands. Despite the showers of rain it was a very enjoyable few hours.

We had a nice time and the guide was professional. Compared to the other tours we have taken, this one was perhaps just a tiny bit lacking in enthusiasm from the guide. Perhaps in the business for too long? However, overall, still a great experience and I'm only deducting one star because all the other tours we've taken in other cities have been outstanding.

It was an interesting tour, our guide was knowledgeable and we felt that we were being taken to places less seen by tourists. We loved seeing his garden, an old winery and an old church; the cheese platter with a glass of wine was lovely; we never felt rushed but saw so much of Napier and surrounds.

Early start was good, covered a lot of good territory including town and views, and were back in time to look through the town.

Informative guide, great wineries, perfect day out in Napier
