Your tour will begin as you depart to Nabeul. This city is well known for the manufacture of pottery, plates decorated with paint, and faience, the fruit of a craft that is passed down from generation to generation. The manufacture of mats, made from green rush in traditional workshops, is also an essential item of this city. You can take the road to Hammamet for a guided tour of the Medina, built in front of the sea with magnificent views of the rooftops. Later, discover the villa of George Sebastian, built in a pure Arab-Andalusian style on the 1920s. This villa housed Romanian artist G. Sebastian and his wife, a wealthy American. The villa is built in front of the sea and surrounded by a park teeming with magnificent trees and rare species of a prolific orchard and an open-air orangery. You will then have free time for lunch in Hammamet at yasmine Hammamet, with recommendations happily provided by your guide. Following lunch, you will take a small stroll through the port of Hammamet, before being taken back to your place of residence.

After pickup from your hotel, start your tour with a visit to the Archeological Museum of Nabeul. Also know as Neapolis in ancient times, the city of Nabeul was founded in the 5th century BC. The Archeological Museum was renovated in 2003, and although it is only the size of a house, it boasts an amazing collection of mosaics and other rare specimens from various archaeological sites in the region of Cape Bon. Next, head to Kelibiya to explore the fortress of Kelibia, one of the most important monuments of Cape Bon. This historic fortress is built on a massive rock 150 meters high. It is the largest and best-preserved Muslim fortress in Tunisia. You’ll also stop at the nearby port of Kelibia, the fourth largest fishing port in Tunisia and enjoy spectacular views of the fortress from there. Then discover the ruins of Kerkouane, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, before continuing on to Ghar el Kebir, to visit the caves of Haouaria. These artificial caves were dug by prisoners and slaves under the authority of the Carthaginians and Romans. The blocks of stone that were extracted were shipped by sea to Carthage, on the other side of the Gulf of Tunis. Near the end of the tour, enjoy a hike along the Ras ed-Ddar 393 meters above Cape Bon. From the summit marvel at an extraordinary view that extends all the way to Sicily on a clear day. Finally, visit the hot natural baths of Korbous before heading back to your hotel.

Hammamet has attracted many artists, including Paul Klee, Andre Gide, Claudia Cardinale and Frank Lloyd Wright, among others. The fabulous old fort overlooking the harbor has nearly 2500 years of history contained within its walls. KERKOUANE: - Kerkouane’s small museum displays the beautiful Punic jewelry made of gold and other precious metals, as well as other artifacts. Kerkouane is the first Carthaginian site in Tunisia to produce more than a few funerary objects. HAOUARIA: - During the Roman era, sandstone blocks were quarried from the length of the coast to build Carthage and other nearby Roman towns. The interconnected Haouaria caves are the most picturesque of these grottoes
