    Pulsating with energy and commerce, yet charmingly wedded to its historic past, Munich is an exciting city to visit and a charming town to walk around. On this tour, you will be introduced to many of the city's major attractions and told about some of it’s legends from your guide. Start at the large open square of Marienplatz, dominated by the Old and New Town Hall. Stroll through the inner city and see sites such as the Frauenkirche and the former royal palaces of the Munich Residenz. Along the way you will learn about the city’s colorful 850-year history, stopping at sites that have witnessed events of not just local, but worldwide interest. See some of its famous beer halls and move on to its green attraction, the massive English Garden. Larger than New York’s Central Park, you will walk among oak and maple trees and discover where people can surf, despite being 6 hours from the nearest sea.

      I had a great experience with my guide. She was very knowledgeable and really nice and helpful. The tour itself was extremely interesting and I got to see all the main historical spots around the city center. The walking is very manageable even for the two hours as everything is quite close to each other. I felt like I learned loads about the history of the city. I've done many of these tours and this is definitely one of the better ones. Highly recommend!

      Great tour with a lot to see. It was a bit long, around 2.5hours, but our guide was able to give us a lot of information on the history of Munich. Only suggestion is to have a couple of toilet breaks during the tour. It was just very busy since the NFL was in town, and everywhere was packed. But over all was a great tour!
