Full description

Your tour guide will meet you at the Regal Cinema, Colaba at 9:00 AM. Start your tour on a bus ride to Victoria Terminus Train Station - a UNESCO World Heritage Site and where Slumdog Millionaire was filmed. Your guide will then accompany you to the flower market which is flooded with all kinds of roses: white, pink, red, yellow and various other kinds of flowers, garlands and bouquets. You will then take a train again to Mahalaxmi, known as Dhobi Ghat (Open Air Laundry) where clothes are washed in full view of the public. After checking out this unique phenomenon, you will take a taxi to Chor Bazaar, one of the largest flea markets in the entire country. Then, take a taxi to Churchgate. Here, you will find the Mumbai dabbawalas, a lunchbox delivery and return system that delivers hot lunches from homes and restaurants to people at work in India, especially in Mumbai. Your tour ends here.

Awesome Tour in Mumbai

We visited many of Mumbai's top attractions on this tour. We went to the Terminus, Dadar flower market, Dhobi Ghat, Chora Thieves Bazaar, and Churchgate station to see the Dabbawalas in action. Basically almost every Mumbai highlight I wanted to see was covered on this tour. Dev was an engaging and knowledgeable guide who took me to experience almost every public means of transport in Mumbai - bus, train, and taxi. Highly recommended tour.

Sehr empfehlenswerte Tour. In wenig Stunden sammelt man viele unterschiedliche Eindrücke. Das Leben in Mumbai wird einem echt nahe gebracht. Dave wäre ein sehr angenehmer und aufmerksamer Guide.
