The route to Delphi is amazing, full of sensational, natural landscapes and cute country villages. Delphi is a magical place where history meets with mythology. During antiquity (6th century B.C.), Delphi was the most significant point of reference for ancient Greeks, known throughout the ancient Greek world and beyond, as the sanctuary of Apollo, god of light and knowledge, and the shrine of his high priestess and seer, Pythia. Both kings and mortals consulted the notorious Pythia, about their future. She would even predict the outcomes of battles and wars. Isn’t it exciting? Common people would consult her as well if they could afford it. Nowadays, Delphi is one of the most famous archaeological sites in Greece. Since it is located on a mountain slope, divided into two levels by the main road, the views you will enjoy are out of this world. The site and the museum is a must-visit for people from all over the world who want to learn all about its remarkable history and also admire an awe-inspiring location of raw beauty. We did the tour in winter 2023. We were very lucky with the weather (20 degrees) and sunny. We were picked up punctually at the meeting point and the tour started in the direction of Delphi with small stops and explanations. In the morning we took a break in the café. At Delphi we had 2 hours to visit the place and the museum. After the place there was lunch. The restaurant was ok. It wasn't as bad as my prescribers have made known here. Typical Greek tavern. After dinner we had a stay in Arachova village. Luckily we were there in winter so this place gets very nice. Beautiful village. All in all the tour was great and would recommend. The only point of criticism would be that the seats in the minibus were very narrow. At almost 1.90m, I had problems finding a comfortable sitting position.

The activity was very organized! We were picked up from our hotel and dropped off. Our tour guide Costas was fantastic! He studied archeology and was very knowledgeable. We did not purchase the optional lunch package but when you are with the group you are able to eat lunch at the same location à la carte. This is a definite must do!

The trip was worth it just to see the ancient structures on the beautiful mountain. There was not much to do in Arachova other than the sight top of the clock tower, hence the stop was much shorter than Delphi. Highly recommended!

An excellent tour to a beautiful site. Maria our guide was brilliant giving us tales from history on the bus journey through the stunning scenery of Greece. So glad I did this tour.

Very comfortable and convenient. Bill, being an archeologist is a great guide and treasure trove of informarion.
