This tour... just wow! Our driver Boby and guide Fahmi were absolute legends. Great fun to hang out with for a couple of days. Now the hikes... Bromo is moderate level - not overly difficult, just a couple of steep sections. It's great that Bromo is split into two hikes with breakfast in between. Ijen is hard work - but well worth it. The day I climbed was a bit rainy, but it was still a very enjoyable experience. The blue flames were stunning! Both Boby and Fahmi made this trip extra-awesome with their easy going and fun attitudes. 5 stars for both these gents. The only criticism I have is when I chatted get your guide and asked about the accommodation arrangements and was told we would get our own rooms. This didn't occur and I had to share a room with my mate both nights. This is not a reflection of the activity or the amazing gents that facilitated it though. Get ready for some long days of driving - it's the only downside of the activity but well worth it.

All in all, the two volcanoes are very impressive and should definitely be visited on a trip to jawa. This is a unique experience that we can definitely recommend! What made our trip special was our guide widi who tried at all times to get the best out of everything. Furthermore, he has taken our needs into account and has also responded to our special wishes. It was an individual and uniquely great trip with him! I can recommend this trip because this is not possible to do without a guide. Especially because the distances of the two volcanoes are very large and you can only get around on the roads as a local. In addition, we would otherwise never have learned so much about the country and the lives of the people. Our guide widi made an individual trip out of it and showed us other additional undertakings besides the agreed ones. It was a great, impressive and funny trip that we will certainly remember for a long time!

We booked the 3 day trip to Mount Bromo and Iljen Crater’s Blue Fire tour and we are very enthousiastic about the tour! We had the same personal driver, Gusti, for 3 days. He picked us up and also brought us home again. He brought us everywhere and made sure we had breakfast, lunch and diner. He was very nice and we had a lot of fun! The first activity was the hike to Kawa Iljen. The walk to the crater was tough, but it was totally worth it! The day after we went with the jeep to Mount Bromo. Our tour guide was Mismar and he brought us to the sunruse point Mount Bromo. The sunrise was very beautiful and Mismar made sure we had beautiful pictures. After that Mismar brought us to Mount Bromo to look in the vulcano. That was very impressive too. We had a lot of fun these 3 days and we totally recommend this trip!

We had a wonderful time. Our guides Fami and Argi were amazing and extremely friendly. They went above and beyond to look after us. There is a lot of long days driving and very early starts which we knew before we booked this tour so this was not a problem for us. The li g days and early starts are worth it Mt Bromo and Ijen crater were out of this world a must for any one who likes adventure, the walking is not hard to the crater, but take good hiking shoes, we did and was easy I took my trekking poles awesome idea. Hotels and food were great. Our overall experience was incredibly awesome and lots of fun. I highly recommend this tour and the company get your guide Thank you so much Fami and Argi

I had an excellent tour! Everything was very well organized by the tour company and the very reliable and knowledgeable driver and guide. All the sites we visited were fabulous, starting from the Buddhist and Hindu temples around Yogjakarta to the impressive volcanoes in East Java. Yogjakarta has a lot to offer and I feel I could have spent a day or two more there. Consider arriving a few days before starting the tour to explore the city. The way from Yogjakarta to the volcanoes is quite long, but it gives you a chance to sit back in the car, observe local life and learn about the country and its culture from the local guide.
