We did this tour in December 2022, and Kamal was an excellent guide. He was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area and shared lots of history during our tour. It was pouring all day and Kamal was nice enough to let me share his umbrella until I was able to purchase my own. We stopped by local business to see how bronze crafts, Argan oil, and Agave threads were made by local craftsmen and women. We toured the beautiful Madrassa and saw the Kouarren mosque from the outside. We visited the tanneries and had a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Afterwards we headed to see the kings palace, Jewish quarter, and a local Mosaic institute. I appreciated that Kamal ensured us that we were not obligated to purchase anything at any of our stops. We also appreciated that we were not bothered by fake “guides” when we were with Kamal. If you’d like a tour of the city without being accosted at every corner by people who want to “guide” you, then definitely book a tour with Kamal.

Our guide Kamal took us through a journey across the complex streets of the Medina, straight to the heart of its best. It was a unique experience where we could feel the beauty and understand the history behind all that amazing place. Worthy and we felt safe all the time. The best decision to make it as a tour so no fear of getting lost or approached intrusively by anyone inside there. Highly recommended and thanks to Kamal for the great experience!!

The tour and our guide Kamal were outstanding. Kamal is one of the most genuine and kindest guide I've ever come across. He knows the Fez medina and it's people inside out! Our day in Fez was the highlight of our amazing vacation in Marocco and Kamal played a really big part in that
