Full description
In this grand Russian capital of 13 million people, it helps to have a guide. Get picked up from your hotel reception, then head to the most beautiful metro in the world with your guide on a private 4-hour walking tour of Moscow.  Head to the historical center of Moscow. The Kremlin and the cathedrals, monasteries, fortresses and preserved boyar’s palaces demonstrate the unique culture and art of the late Middle Ages in Russia.  During your personalized tour, visit Red Square and look at St Basil’s Cathedral. Its ice-cream colored domes are straight from a fairytale. Walk along Arbat street, one the oldest avenues in Moscow. In the mid 1980s, Arbat became the first pedestrian street in the city, and it's now the lively Russian version of Barcelona's La Rambla. See street singers perform and musicians play. Watch artists draw portraits of visitors, and hunt down some souvenirs along the way. Stop at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior and enjoy the metro ride there. A unique architectural experience, major stations built by the Soviets in the 1930s look like palaces which have been richly decorated with marble, stained-glass windows, and sculptures.

Elena was amazing! She was really interesting and made the experience so enjoyable. She didn’t rush anything even though we were over the allotted 4 hours by 30 minutes as I wanted to grab food and drinks along the way. Elena just wanted to make sure we saw everything we could whilst in Moscow.

Excellent orientation to Moscow

Had a great time wander through the city and becoming familiar with how things go. Learned a lot about the history of Russia while traversing through all the tourist spots. Hit up everything we wanted to see and do and got recommendations on everything else before we departed. We also were lucky to be accommodated by having to change the starting time due to our arrival changes and were given directions to easily reach another destination of our choosing. We were a bit apprehensive visiting Russia and this tour helped alleviate a lot of our fears and kicked off a great start to visiting Russia!

A great way to get your bearings on 1st morning of 1st visit to Moscow

Natalia our guide met us @ 9am in the foyer of our Hotel on our first morning in Moscow. This was a great way to get our bearings, see some iconic Moscow & be guided on how to use the Metro. She was tuned in to what we wanted & developed a lovely rapport. I would recommend such a tour to any independent traveller
