Lower Geyser Basin (Fountain Paint Pot Trail) - Midway Geyser Basin (Grand Prismatic Spring) - Old Faithful and Old Faithful Visitor Center - Upper Geyser Basin Pool Trail (including Morning Glory Pool) - Yellowstone Lake - Yellowstone Grand Canyon (Upper and Lower Falls) Departing at 9 o'clock in the morning, just 5 minutes from the hotel, we will enter the world-renowned Yellowstone National Park. Covered by primitive forests, Yellowstone National Park is the first national park in the United States, a pristine and beautiful world that is peaceful and charming. However, underground lies the largest active volcano on Earth, waiting for you to discover its amazing and immense energy. Driving east along the Madison River for about 30 minutes, accompanied by various wild animals whizzing past our window, we will arrive at Yellowstone National Park's most famous geothermal area. First, we will visit the Upper, Mid, and Lower Geyser Basins of Yellowstone National Park, observing various different geothermal landscape segments such as hot springs, geysers, fumaroles, mud pots, and more. Leaving the geothermal area, we will go to the beautiful mountain lake, Yellowstone Lake, where you can stroll along the lake shore trail to enjoy the lake view and the hot springs along the shore. You can also go boating on the lake for a unique experience. Finally, we will go to the magnificent Yellowstone Grand Canyon, where you can see the Yellowstone Falls plunging 3,000 feet and the colorful weathered volcanic rocks. We will return to West Yellowstone town to end the day's itinerary. Lower Geyser Basin (Paint Pot Trail): 40 minutes Grand Prismatic Spring - 40 minutes Old Faithful and Old Faithful Visitor Center - 90 minutes Upper Geyser Basin Trail - 60 minutes (including Morning Glory Pool) Yellowstone Lake - 60 minutes Yellowstone Grand Canyon (Lower Falls) - 30 minutes Ends of the itinerary. We will return to the West Yellowstone town. Optional Activities: Yellowstone Lake Cruise Board the Lake Queen II for a one-hour guided tour on the largest freshwater lake in the United States at over 7,000 feet above sea level. The boat departs from Bridge Bay Marina and cruises around Yellowstone Lake with up to seven different departure times to choose from. Along the way, you will learn about the history of the lake, see the SS E.C. Waters, and other amazing sights in the area. You can observe eagles, shorebirds, and occasionally deer and bison along the shoreline.

Explore an area home to more than half of the world's thermal features such as Old Faithful, Morning Glory Pool, and the Upper Geyser Basin. Learn about the unique geology of Yellowstone's hot spots and experience it firsthand on a guided hiking tour that includes snacks and lunch. Meet your naturalist guide at the Biscuit Basin Trailhead. Gear up with packs, trekking poles, binoculars, and bear spray while enjoying a morning snack and hot drink. After a brief safety presentation, hit the trail for a hike among geysers, hot springs, and steam vents. See the iconic Old Faithful Geyser, Morning Glory Pool, and many other thermal features along the boardwalks and trails of the Upper Geyser Basin. Hike alongside your guide to understand the environment around you. Look for some of the rarest animals on earth. Watch for bisons on the trail as you explore a super volcano. You may see some geysers erupt such as Beehive Geyser, Grand Geyser, Castle Geyser, Grotto Geyser, Riverside Geyser, and Daisy Geyser.

After six years of guiding in Yellowstone, I can tell you that this hike is the best bang for your buck, as far as how to spend your time in this National Park.
