After an introductory stand up paddleboard course from your qualified instructor on the Plage de Babin beach, head towards Macou Island while exploring the mangroves on the way. Thanks to the clarity of the water, enjoy exceptional views of the Caribbean marine life as your friendly guide provides interesting explanations. Learn why mangroves are such an essential ecosystem for Guadeloupe, acting as a nursery for marine life, as well as a filter and protection for the island itself. The excursion takes you through the mangrove forest in this protected area that is not accessible by boat. Enjoy privileged access as you see the different species living underwater such as multicolored fish, starfish, rays, crabs, and coral. See the colonies of pelicans, herons, and frigates perched in the mangroves and soaring overhead before returning back to Plage de Babin beach.

Absolute Empfehlung! Lilian war ein super Guide, der uns auf dem SUP gut begleitet hat. Die Tour ist sehr gut machbar auch für Greenhorns. Was wichtig ist, sind Sonnenschutz, also Mütze, dick Sonnencreme am besten auch ein Shirt. Lilian hat uns auch viel über die Natur in den Mangroven und den Klimawandel erklärt. Vor Ort hat alles gut geklappt.☀️

Es war ein super Erlebnis und hat uns richtig viel Spaß gemacht! Wir waren beide SUP-Neulinge, was aber kein Problem war. Mit Matthews Anleitung haben wir schnell gelernt uns auf dem Board wohl zu fühlen und dabei noch viel über die Natur auf Guadeloupe gelernt. Ein wirklich tolles Erlebnis, dass wir nur jedem weiterempfehlen können!

Ein absoluter Traum! Unser Guide Matthew hat genügend wissen was das stand up Paddeln angeht und gab uns am Anfang eine kleine Einweisung, sodass jeder gut vorbereitet war. Es ging sowohl im stehen als auch sitzend durch die Mangroven. Wir würden es wieder machen! Eine kleine Pause mit Getränke war ebenfalls vorhanden.
