After an informative short bus ride out of the city, arrive at the spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Site of Montserrat. Enjoy a tour of the local monastery and hear about its incredible history. Then, enjoy free time to either go hiking in the magical hills, feast on an all-you-can-eat lunch looking out over mystical views, or explore the museum and further discover the history of this famous landmark.

We had an amazing experience. The tour was well organised. We were a small group of 5 so we could ask any questions. I’m so sorry I forgot the name of the guide but Gerard was there too The guide spoke an impeccable English which make it very easy to understand ! Will definitely book again and recommend it to family and friends

The location of Montserrat was beautiful and so worthwhile as a day trip. We had a small group and were put in a small van instead of a luxury bus. It was not clean and not comfortable. Our guide was also the driver and so was not able to talk to us or give us any history on the hour drive. She was fine at the location but we just had a half hour guided tour and the rest of the 4 hours we were on our own. The description of the tour did say free time for lunch but I did not feel we got our money’s worth. There are dozens of guided tours to this location. And this was just ok and not really worry the money.

You are transported to the Montserrat and on the way given some interesting facts about the places along the road (dependa on how much you want to know). On the top the guide takes you around the place. Gives you important info and all the important informations, so that you can decide by yourself what you want to see. Then you are left to your own to do whatever you like. We decided to go to the Holy cave. The route to it is beautiful and really a must go. We then also went to the museum. Sadly this was not really for us at it was mostly paintings. There was also an archeological exhibition which was was closer to our interests. Overall the hike was worth it and would do it again. We decided not to go to the main church as there were just too many people waiting in line. All in all this is the tour we like most. To be provided with a lot of informations but then let to our own devices to do or rather go where we want.
