Then, you will visit the historic house of Bertrand Du Guesclin, a Breton knight and French military commander during the 14th century, and his wife, Tiphaine de Raguenel, a famous astrologist who used to read the destiny of the world in the stars. Here, you can visit special exhibits viewing period furniture, a bridal chamber, a medieval chastity belt, armor worn by Bertrand du Guesclin and Tiphaine de Raguenel's study. 2 of the 4 museums are worth seeing and fun to see. The archeoscope is nicely made, but the story can only be followed in French and for the average Dutch person. Unfortunately. The maritime museum is moderate. Nice addition to a visit to the abbey, but not necessary.

It's ok now that we're on site. I wouldn’t go to the site just because of these museums, but quite a nice addition to the day. Quickly through the corridors. I recommend proficiency in French for video / etc performances, but can enjoy them without it. Includes stairs.
