This city is well known for the manufacture of pottery, plates decorated with paint, and faience, the fruit of a craft that is passed down from generation to generation. The manufacture of mats, made from green rush in traditional workshops, is also an essential item of this city. You can take the road to Hammamet for a guided tour of the Medina, built in front of the sea with magnificent views of the rooftops.
