Full description
Get unobstructed views of Utah’s beautiful Bryce Canyon National Park and Capitol Reef National Park on this private airplane tour. Marvel at the spectacular Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument from a vantage point that’s hard to beat. Depart from Canyonlands Regional Airport to start the tour. Fly over remote canyons to reach the unique Waterpocket Folds of Capitol Reef National Park. Your knowledgeable pilots will be giving a fun description and explanation of the geological formations along your entire tour. Capitol Reef National Park is a hidden treasure filled with cliffs, canyons, domes, and bridges. The park is a vast showcase of colorful rock pinnacles and spires, known as hoodoos, which rise from a series of natural amphitheaters. Land at Bryce Canyon Airport and enjoy some time to stretch your legs and use the facilities. Once back on the plane, head southeast to meet up with the Colorado River. Spot the Grand Staircase and see the plateaus that descend from Bryce Canyon south toward the Grand Canyon, marked by vertical drops at the Pink Cliffs, Grey Cliffs, and White Cliffs. Follow the Colorado River the majority of the time back to Canyonlands National Park before landing back in Moab.
