Spend a couple of hours in the morning or afternoon sunshine and discover the city of Puerto Princesa by visiting some of its famous locations within the city proper. First, visit the Immaculate Conception Cathedral, which is a Roman Catholic cathedral in the heart of Puerto Princesa. Continue your journey to Mitra's Ranch, which is the ancestral house of one of Puerto Princesa's prominent politicians, the former House Speaker Ramon Mitra Jr. Taste the famous Hopia at Baker's Hill, which is a theme park with a lovely garden of larger-than-life statues of well-loved cartoon characters. Visit Binuatan Creations Weaving Center where the locals make a living by weaving. Last but not least, stop at a local shop to buy famous Palawan delicacies and souvenirs to take home to your family and friends.
