This was an absolutely wonderful day trip, my only wish is that it lasted longer. Maxine was so knowledgeable about everything, and had tons of interesting facts about Mozart, the Sound of Music, and Salzburg itself. She brought us to the oldest restaurant in the world, with a beautiful ambience and delicious food. As a university student on a budget, it was a little pricy, but the members of my group were so generous and kind, that they paid for my meal and train ticket home. The bus & train tickets are included in the tour price, which is very helpful for convenience and efficiency. Maxine let our group explore an extra hour so everyone got more time in the city, but unfortunately, I had to go directly to the airport and couldn’t stay. However, I still saw a lot of what Salzburg had to offer and will definitely be returning!

My wife dragged me to this sound of music tour, but I have to admit that this was quite a fun experience. Obviously it helps if you are a fan of the movie, but even someone who has not watched the movie like me can appreciate the terrific views, some great nature pics and the movie trivia that comes along. The guide did his best to keep us entertained and he succeeded. I would definitely do this again.

Absolutely loved this tour! We saw a lot in the time allocated. Our guide was great, had a good sense of humour and kept us entertained with lots of interesting information about the film. If you enjoyed the movie, put this on your to-do list when you visit Salzburg.

Beautiful concert in a beautiful hall. The hall is not very large, there will be about 150 seats in all, it was all full. The group is seated very close (also depends on where you have the seat) Activities not to be missed

Maxine was very good, knowledgeable & helpful! We were happy throughout the trip. Salzburg indeed a beautiful city. The only setback was that local people at the retail shops weren't friendly at all.
