After departing, the first part of your trip will consist of sightseeing through the bay of Adamas. Sailing close to the east coast of the bay, you will pass the first Christian catacombs and the colorful villages of Skinopi, Klima, the capital of ancient Milos and where the statue of Venus de Milo was discovered, Areti and Fourkovouni.
You will then reach the "Arkoudes", the impressive 20-foot bear-shaped rocks at the entrance of the bay to the east before you continue sailing east along the north side of the island. Your next stop is Glaronisia; Greek for seagull islands. This uninhabited island is an extremely rare geological phenomenon, consisting completely of hexagonal-shaped lava rocks. Weather permitting, this will also be your first swim stop.
Next, you will sail towards the island of Polyaigos, the largest uninhabited Greek island which is home to some of the most impressive waters in the Mediterranean. Your main stop on this amazing island is the area of Galazia nera, or blue waters. The transparency and fluorescent color of the sea are beyond words, making this one of the best beaches in the whole of Greece.
Leaving Poliegos, head west towards south Milos, passing by the bay of Theiorychia where the abandoned 1930s sulfur mines still stand, creating a magnificent landscape. After taking pictures of the sulfur mines, make a stop in Gerakas and get the chance to swim and snorkel on one of the most famous beaches in Milos, only accessible by sea.
Next, you will reach your main stop at Kleftiko, the most famous place in Milos. Apart from its pirate history, this unique combination of white and grey rocks creates one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. Snorkeling here is an amazing experience, complete with underwater passages, caves, and unsurpassed water clarity. You will be provided with masks, flippers, underwater cameras, and a few tips about what you can do.
Refreshments and ice-cold beers will be waiting for you when you get back to the boat, followed by a delicious meal. You will then make your way towards the west side of Milos to Sykia. Here you will get the chance to swim in one of the most impressive places in Milos, an old-volcanic crater with crystal clear green waters.
Entering the bay of Adamas, you will pass the rock of Vani, an impressive 30-meter-tall rock behind which the old 19th-century iron mine operated. Your cruise will wind down with the sun in the background, casting beautiful sunset colors. At the conclusion of your tour, you will return to Adamas port.
