Among other castles you can visit is the Château de Beynac, one of the best preserved and best known castles in the Dordogne region. It boasts double crenelated walls, double barbican, and double moats, one of which was a deepened natural ravine. Another castle to visit is the Château des Milandes, once the home of the Josephine Baker, an American dancer, singer, and actress who found fame in her adopted homeland of France. Josephine Baker and her husband renovated this beautiful castle, installing central heating, electricity, and running water. They lived here with 12 adopted children from 9 different nationalities to create what they tenderly call the “World Village”. You can also explore Domme, another typically charming Bastide village built on the cliffs overhanging the Dordogne River. It was here that many of the Kinghts Templar were imprisoned and you can still see some of their graffiti on the tower gates. Another option on this tour is to visit the Jardins de Marqueyssac, an amazing garden filled with topiary creation and a picturesque promenade with panoramic views over the Dordogne River. Visit the Eyrignac gardens, the French garden inspired by the 18th century Italian design. They were entirely modified into an English romantic garden in the 19th century. What people are saying about Midi-Pyrénées

The activity consists of a tour of the vineyards and the winery, where we learn a little about its history. Then, we tasted 3 wines: a white and two reds. When booking the language options were French or English, but when we arrived at the winery one of the hostesses spoke in Spanish, so we could choose that language :) The place is incredible and the attention is excellent. It lasted approx. 40 'and we pay € 10 per person. It was a wonderful experience. We highly recommend !!

We traveled to Lourdes via Get your Guide and hit the jackpot with Iker as our tour guide!!! We booked everything on line and it all worked so smoothly as far as scheduling and payment !!! The biggest bonus was when Iker picked us up for Lourdes …. He was not only beyond knowledgeable on Lourdes and all things Basque…. But He was just a delight to tour with!!! Beyond great day and great guide !!!

A lovely introduction to the vineyard experience. We saw the vats and barrels of wine. We were informed about the process. Then we were able to taste four wines with an expert guide who had taken us through the whole tour. I highly recommend this experience.

It was a peaceful, beautiful tour, with a charming story told by Iker, a spectacular guide, who led us in a safe and fun way.

Very beautiful estate and experienced guide listening to visitors.
