Full description
Begin your day with a bike ride around the Teotihuacan Valley, and take in the fantastic views of the area. Get to know the old residential neighborhoods Tepantitla Tetitla and Atetelco where you will see an old, preserved mural. Next, leave your bike and discover the archaeological site of the Pre-Hispanic City of Teotihuacan. Walk down the mythical Avenue of the Dead lined with pyramids, remnants from a magnificent civilization in the pre-Columbian Americas. Climb the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon for a different perspective of the Teotihuacan Pyramids altogether. Then, explore the incredible surroundings further by visiting a nearby cave, and walking along a suspension bridge. Then, experience a thrilling zip line ride and take in the amazing vista of the surrounding landscape as well as a unique view of the Pyramid of the Sun from above. Visit a craft workshop where you will learn about precious stones, like obsidian, and here, you also have the opportunity to taste the traditional Mexican alcoholic drink pulque, a fermented agave sap drink. Your tour will end with a tasty buffet lunch (no drinks included) and will return to Mexico City at approximately 4:00 PM.
