Embark on a day all about you and explore the highlights of Capri and Positano from the comfort of a private boat with a local captain. You will begin in the morning (time can possibly be customized for your convenience) from Mergellina Port and cruise across the bay of Naples towards Capri. Get your camera ready because you will have unrivaled views of the active volcano Mount Vesuvius behind you, the thermal Island of Ischia to your right, the Sorrento coastline to your left and the island of Capri directly in front of you.  Once you arrive in Capri the captain will show you all of the not-to-be-missed sites such as the Blue Grotto, the White Grotto, the Green Grotto, the Coral Grotto, Faraglioni Rock Formations, Marina Piccola, the natural arc, and much, much more. This is one of the most important sites dating back to when Ulysses heard a song of the sirens as he sailed through. Li Galli islands also have an underwater nature preserve and is favorite place to stop for a swim.  Your last stop is Positano where you can enjoy some free time to explore this jet-set village. Browse the boutiques, ice-cream shops and local artisan studios. There is so much to see in this wonderful little village that has become famous throughout the world. At the end of the day you will be dropped back off in Naples unless you choose to end your Tour in Positano. This is a day that is not to be missed.

The port where private boats embark in Naples is called Mergellina. The port where the cruise ships come in is called Beverello. If you are arriving by cruise ship, a driver can be arranged to meet your below your cruise ship. They will then take you to Mergellina, where your private boat will be waiting.  The captain will pick you up at the pier and head along the coastline towards the Island of Capri. You will see the Sorrento Coast on one side and the island of Capri in front of you, with Naples and Mt. Vesuvius to your right as you cross the Bay of Naples. We will start from Mergellina, continue along the waterfront and arrive at the Castel dell'Ovo. The tour begins with avolcanological/environmental introduction about the Bay of Naples, continues with a historical explanation of the castle's origins and the telling of myths and legends about the story of Virgil's egg and the siren Partenope. We will tour the Castle from the sea in 360 degrees after which we will proceed again to the stretch of water in front of the seaside village for an aperitif of white wine and mussel peppery (or other seafood appetizer).
