Well planned out tour for basic introduction to Egyptian history. If you’re looking for a very in depth history then I’d recommend something more focus for a longer duration, there’s a lot planned in the day and not enough time to really get intimate. Knowledgeable guide and fantastic driver (you need one, traffic in Cairo is scary for foreigners). Standard fare for an Egyptian tour consisting of the base tour plus a few added stops to show you cool things but are sort of tourist traps to get you to buy things. Papyrus paper making was cool, carpet making is interesting but not practical. If you want to focus on the tour and not tourist traps recommend getting a detailed itinerary in advance and letting your guide know you’re not interested in the added stops. We added on the extra 1 hour camel ride but it was exactly 19 minutes long that consisted of a short walk to take a couple pictures and back.

Salib was an incredible guide. Extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and caring. He even got us some amazing falafels (though we hadn’t booked lunch!) and gave us tips on how to avoid the hustlers at all the sites. Salib’s English was excellent and the pace of the tour was perfectly judged - just the right amount of time T each place to absorb all the sights and information and take a few snaps for the protobook Salib made sure we got to see the pyramids from all the best angles and took care to give us our own time during the trip as well to take in fully the beauty of the sites. We were picked up on time at 8am (although we were a little late, Salib was incredibly patient ) and dropped off around 4pm. Overall a fantastic experience made all the better by having the perfect guide. Highly recommend!

My guide Salib picked me up at the agreed time. On the way to Saqqara he vividly explained the history of ancient Egypt to me. In Saqqara and Memphis, I was guided through the facilities and made aware of many details that I would have missed without a guide. Since I had skipped the optional lunch, there was enough time left for an unscheduled visit to the Bent Pyramid of Dahshur. The conclusion was formed by the world-famous pyramids of Gysi and the Sphinx. Salib was an excellent guide. He speaks perfect English, can answer any question and is flexible in planning the daily routine. We had enough time at each sight. A visit to a Papyrus Shop was offered, but since I wasn't interested in it, I didn't do it without further discussion.

Contact with the tour operator was uncomplicated and quick. Extra requests, such as the trip to Dharschur, were included in the program without any problems. The guide himself, Mina, was knowledgeable and friendly, what he shared was interesting and knowledgeable. Pickup was on time, right at the hotel, the car was clean and comfortable. Both the content and the general conditions of the tour were perfect for getting to know Egypt for the first time.

Very friendly and considerate tour (1 participant aged 77) by the competent guide Ahmed. Very nice tour that offers all the highlights and is not exhausting.
