Full description
Be picked up in Melbourne CBD in the early morning. After a short, 20-minute drive, you’ll find yourself out in the urban Australian wilderness. There, you can view iconic Aussie wildlife up close and personal. Visit a selection of beautiful parks including, Westerfolds Park, Candlebark Park, Warrandyte Park, and Plenty Gorge. The specific park chosen will depend on times and weather conditions. Your first activity is a mountain bike ride along riverside trails through the Aussie bush. Keep your eyes peeled for wombats and kangaroos, and listen out for birdlife. You’ll spend about an hour riding the various trails before stopping for a flask of fresh Melbourne coffee as your paddleboard is set up. Your guide is also a certified SUP instructor and will give you all necessary instructions on standup paddleboarding. Afterward, cruise along on your paddleboard for around an hour. As you paddleboard, enjoy the scenic views along the waterway. After a morning of activities, it’s time for breakfast. Head to a local hangout cafe to enjoy a classic Melbourne brekkie. While you are there, be sure you grab yourself a barista-made Melbourne coffee. Once refueled, hop back in the vehicle and drive the Yarra Scenic Drive back towards Melbourne. Your guide will point out interesting sights along the way and some more incredible Aussie wildlife. Arrive back in Melbourne and be dropped off before lunchtime.
