Full description

Begin your tour by visiting the site of Escobar’s former home, where he hid his family and had enemies plant bombs to kill him. Learn about the transformation of this site into a memorial park for victims of Colombia's drug war. Next, head to “la cathedral”, a jail Escobar built for himself in an agreement with the government, from which he later escaped. Afterward, visit the soccer field Escobar built, known for its visionary design, where he gave speeches in an attempt to make a foray into Colombian politics. To cap things off, make your way to the cemetery, where Escobar is buried along with his family and other members of his gang, including Griselda Blanco.

By the end of the day, leave the tour with a better understanding of the negative impact that Escobar had on the country and the lives of the Colombian people.

Really nice tour. tour guide knows a lot. Even though on fact was wrong by telling, that the kids of heros from former times now try to be president. We looked online, they do run for politics, but not president. All the rest was great! We would absolutely recommend this tour for everyone interested in this part of Colombian history.

You are expected at the location 15 minutes before the start. However, the guide himself will not arrive until 15 minutes after the start. He also left the tour earlier because he was getting close to his home. He had money in. Speaking of money, at the last stop, the cemetery, a number of people still had to pay. Some 90,000 others 100,000 or 110,000. That does not give a good feeling if you have paid 115,000 yourself…… There is not much to see. The house where he lived is no longer there. The prison has been demolished and partly rebuilt. A soccerfield. And a cemetery. The only thing are the stories that the guide tells.

Guides with very good knowledge and very kind. It met my expectations. Jorge helped me a lot to organize another tour in the little time I had. I did the Pablo Escobar tour with him and it was very good. Later I did a tour of Comuna 13 with Camila, she is excellent.
