Let’s start the journey! You'll begin your journey by picking you up from your hotels.  On you way to the Road to Hana Adventure, you will also see the town of Kahului, Hana Highway, Pukalani Town, passing the small town of Keokea and beautiful countryside farms and ranches on your way to the Ulupalakua Ranch. Explore one of Maui’s oldest and largest ranches with beautiful rolling pastures and green forestry. Leaving the ranch, you enter what locals call (the backside) the most isolated part of the island with unbelievable picture stops, Kaupo Ranch, St. Joseph’s Church (built in 1865) pass small towns such as Kanaio, Kahikinui, Kaupo and local Kaupo store! You'll enter the Kipahulu District and the edge of the rainforest. Charles Linberg’s loved the area so much that he requested to be buried here after he died. Palapalahoomau Church is the site if his grave, another church built in the mid 1800s. You'll then take a trip to the experience the beautiful waterfalls of Maui. Wailua is the largest waterfall visible from the highway and is a spectacular site to see. Enjoy a cozy picnic lunch before heading to Koki Beach in Hana. Koki and Homoa beaches are the 2 most beautiful beaches in the State of United States – and voted so by Travel Magazine more than once. Breathtaking white sand beach and turquoise colored water and the rainforest all coming together right down to the shoreline. Hana and Hana Bay is truly the gem of Hawaii. Hana is the Hawaiian Culture most embraced by the Islands. The lifestyle is laid back with a entrapturing sense of spirituality. Wainapanapa is Maui’s famous Black Sand Beach. Cobalt blue Ocean surrounded by black sand and lava rocks makes for a memorable stop. Go for a walk along the edge of the bay, check out the blue water or just sit under a nice shade tree, great place to spend a few minutes relaxing at one of the islands most beautiful places. Waikani Falls are all visible from the highway and make great picture stops. Pua’a Ka’a state park provides two safe and easy to access waterfalls and fresh water pools. Great place to take a swim. The tour doesn’t stop there! You'll meet two small Hawaiian villages, Wailua and Keanae, who do their best to live like the Native Hawaiians of old. Hunting pigs and growing Taro, Bread Fruit, and Bananas are all big parts of everyday life in this small community. It’s also the site of the Famous Half Way to Hana Snack stand; shave ice, fresh coconut, cold drinks and of course the Original Fresh Baked Banana Bread. Close by, you'll visit the Waikamoi Stream and the Hamakua Ditch. Now you'll make your final run of the Island visiting its beautiful rainforests and Hookipa Beach. The largest area of rainforest in the state of Hawaii is along the Hana Hwy. Moving past Haiku the last stop of the day will be at Hookipa Beach. Considered the windsurf capital of the world enjoy a few minutes watching wind surfers, kite boarders and surfer challenge the oceans waves and shoreline winds. Take pictures, swim, or enjoy the view without the large crowds because of your unique route.

Was running just a few minutes late for pickup but the driver called to let us know ahead of time. Arrived at the new time in a very clean van with Dell greeting us and introducing himself as our driver for the day. There were 10 passengers altogether from our resort as well as another area resort. The people were friendly and Dell did a little icebreaker to begin our long day together. Hana was amazing and so glad that we took a guided tour where we could sit back, relax, enjoy the breathtaking scenery and learn some facts from Dell about some island history, folklore and gun facts as well. The stops we made were definitely worth it, especially the Black Sand Beach and the stop at the banana bread stand! Dell made the ride fun, especially the “roller coaster “ type hills and he was not reckless at all when it came to the very scary drop offs and ultra narrow roads. Our only advice would be to mix up the music more during the 10 hrs. Otherwise, it was a perfect excursion!

Sean was excellent! He was knowledgeable and fun tour guide! We learned so much history, facts, stories, which made the tour feel complete. Had more than enough time at each stop, liked the small group. Food were good sandwiches, not heavy, but not skimpy. So we had full bellies, but not uncomfortable full, just right for the busy trip. I thought 10 hours was gonna be a super long day, but didn’t know how a 52 mile road would take so long. But it flew by, and was best tour I ever had.

We went with Dynamic Tours and overall had a good time. Pros: Great guide - fun, knowledgeable, and super friendly. We really enjoyed his story telling and seeing how the locals live. Highlights include the Aunty Sandy's Banana Bread, Coconut Glen's for its delicious coconut ice cream, Waiʻānapanapa State Park, Pāpalaua Wayside Park, and Palapala Ho‘omau Church. Cons: - It didn't appear the company took mask wearing seriously as our guide didn't wear his mask for the entire tour. Also, listening to another tour guide from the same company go on an anti-vaccine rant at one of the stops was alarming given the nature of this business which is to provide safety for all customers. - Our pick up was 40 mins late (we were first) and an hour late for the last pick up. We understand if there are delays, but not informing us of the delay beforehand is not good customer service. - The tour does not include the 7 Pools and the Bamboo Forest. Ask your guide if you can stop there and skip the bee
