This self-guided audio starts at the harbor, where you’ll learn much of the Maori history of the area including the tribal ancestry. The similar tour from our ship only had one spot left and so we took a gamble with this company as we really wanted the experience. Our arrival time was changed for our docking but when we contacted Stephen regarding the conflict he said they cater to the cruise ships and changed our time to accommodate. Amanda our driver, greated us with the tour van, and as the Corona Virus had been playing havoc with decreased bookings and cancellations we were the only two for the tour. Amanda gave us a wonderful experience showing us all the tour had to offer and more. The Maori Village is a cultural wonder, unique and educational. The tour around Tauronga, a stop at a kiwifruit farm, Rotorua, the giant redwoods, a stop at Mossop's Honey Shoppe and a bonus stop at McClaren Falls rounded out a glourious 8 hour excursion with our very gracious host, Amanda.

Most amazing views, great instructors - relaxed and calm, awesome jump over Tauranga, absolutely loved it
