The trip was beautiful, lots to see along the way. The stops (argan oil, potter, cloth weaver) were not necessary for us ... you have to look everywhere in the shop and give a tip (not done!) the walk at the waterfall was great but tough! Really good shoes!!! Camel ride really nice :)

Amazing day, cannot fault it! We were picked up in a lovely, clean MPV and greeted with a smile and bottles of water. I wasn't aware that this would be a private trip, I had expected a group tour- this may have been a misunderstanding on my part or maybe we just got lucky however it was a pleasant surprise! We were driven to the mountains, stopping at an Argan Oil Women's Co-operative before driving to the Berber village where we met another guide. He took us further up the mountain on foot, through the markets and to the top of the waterfall where we stopped for mint tea before returning to the valley for lunch by the river. After lunch, we drove back down the mountain and stopped at a Berber family home for a quick visit. We then continued to the camel riding which took place in a dry, open space off a main road. The man who took us on our camel ride made sure we actually rode at sunset for the full experience and went above and beyond to ensure that our photos came out spectacular.

Really enjoyable day out. Everything ran completely smooth and was well organised. All of our guides were friendly and informative. Said our hiking guide was lovely and filled us in on information regarding the area. He was super knowledgeable and extremely helpful always offering a hand to walk up slightly difficult parts of the mountain. We watched Argan oil get made and had the opportunity to buy products without any obligation. After hiking up to the waterfall we had a 3 course lunch at a set price of 120dh (I’m assuming you don’t have to eat if you don’t want to) and then we were driven to a camel ranch for a sunset camel ride. Although it was fun I have to admit that was the only part of the day I was unsure about. I felt sorry for the camels having to traipse tourists around and probably wouldn’t do that part again. All in all though it was an enjoyable day away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.
