Full description
Nestled within a palm-grove near Marrakech you will find a traditional "caïdales" tent, laid out comfortably with rich cushions and filled with an assortment of delicious Moroccan dishes that have made country's cuisine so famous all over the world. Sit and relax in the majestic atmosphere of the night, nibbling on the various dishes and then head over to the arena nearby, where the night really gets started with an unforgettable dinner show. Originated from the Rif region, the Fantasia is a war ceremony consisting of groups of opposing horsemen. Admire the incredible cleverness and nimbleness of the horse riders and their pure Arab steeds, and feel your adrenaline soar as all the horsemen shoot their rifles to the sky, leaving behind them a tumult of burst and shouts. Spend the night enjoying the songs and dances of the folkloric troops, musicians, and acrobats form all over Morocco that accompany the war ceremony, and marvel at the great surprise of the night as the sultan and his favorite wife fly above the spectators on a magic carpet.

A truly wonderful experience in Marrakech. The grand entrance of live music and traditional music groups gave us such a wonderful welcome and made us feel so at home. They continued all throughout dinner, popping into our tent to create even more ambiance. The food was extravagant and delicious; definitely do not go on a full stomach! The show itself was shorter than we had expected, but nevertheless very special; horses and gunfire, bellydancing and animals, a flying carpet (!), and fireworks. A special shout out to our driver Mostafa who was informative and kind, and looked after us from start to finish.

Transport was on time. Our driver stayed with us for the whole experience. The Palace is spectacular. Absolutely beautiful. There is a small museum as you enter. Our driver gave us a tour, which we weren't expecting. It was good. Food was beautiful. The performers around the arena were really good and welcoming. The show itself was good, but I was expecting it to be better, but on the whole, it was fantastic night and great value for money.

It was a fun activity, we were with a nice group but they spoke French. The food was very extensive but the end with the fruit, tea and biscuits was messy in terms of time because we had to walk to the show. They don't have air con inside which was stifling for me as everything is carpet and dust inside too. So had to get some fresh air outside several times. The show was fun and kids can get on the camel and take pictures with the horses. Compliments to our driver Mostapha, who was a winner and kept a very careful eye on our group.
