Historical Turkish Bath Experience

1. Historical Turkish Bath Experience

Located in the heart of the historical peninsula, at a walking distance from Grand Bazaar and serving since 1584, the historical Çemberlitaş Hamam is waiting for you! If you are searching for the best place for a Turkish bath in Istanbul, this is the best place for you. Going to the Turkish bath and witnessing the Turkish bath experience is one of the essential things to do in Istanbul. Take a break from the Istanbul day tours and all the Istanbul sightseeing places and relax in Cemberlitas Hamam. The Turkish Bath is a traditional type of public bathing which is essentially based on the ancient Roman bathing culture and the principles of the steam bath. Combining this with the traditional Turkish bath massage (“Turkish scrub”), it became an integral part of Turkish culture as well as an important part of social life. After sweating, the person in charge of scrubbing and foaming will scrub all the dead skin from your body. Do not worry, it does not hurt. You will be surprised how much dead skin will come off your body. After foaming, you can relax as long as you want in the Hammam. Your body will begin to breathe in each cell and your blood circulation accelerates. Do not miss this experience! Learn more about the ancient bathing ritual of the Ottoman Sultans while relaxing.

What people are saying about Marmara Region

A wonderful experience, it was a very complete tour. Super recommended! You don't have to worry about anything, they take care of everything! The pick-up at the hotel was very punctual, when we left the airport it was waiting for us, Ephesus is a divine place, lunch on the first day was very delicious and varied, the Deger Guide, super friendly and attentive, explains very well and always He made sure we were comfortable. At the end of the tour, he dropped us off at the hotel – which was very clean and comfortable, with such a beautiful view of the Aegean Sea. The next day – They picked us up at the agreed time, our second Guide, Super dear and with a lot of knowledge and was also attentive at all times, my mom was super happy. In Pamukkale, we did the tour, our Guide gave us the time we would meet and also gave us his phone, one of the companions was a bit inconsiderate, he took more than an hour than agreed, It seemed disrespectful to him Guide and with us.

Long and demanding but well organized excursion. It is definitely worth it. Professional and very helpful guide. The two sites are definitely worth seeing if you are in Turkey.

The best thing I did in Turkey. After full day walking, this is the greatest activity you can to to relax

This is must do if you’re in Istanbul. Relaxing Turkish bath to get your vacation started.
