The meeting point for your 3-hour cycling adventure is the Split city harbor. Begin your tour exploring the old city market and the narrow streets of the 1,700-year-old Diocletian Palace and Đardin Park, and take in the busy street life of the town center. Experience the relaxing energy of Marjan hill as you ride through the cool shadows of the pine forests, and enjoy the views of the marina and the other hills that surround the town. After reaching the Marjan cape, your guide will lead you uphill, and you’ll take in fantastic views of the beaches surrounding the town and the islands offshore. See the 15th-century Saint Jerome Chapel and the Hermitage built into a cave. Once you reach the top of the 178-meter-high hill, you’ll then head east and marvel at the panoramic views from the Vidilica. Your next stop is Sustipan, an old city park located on the cliffs just above the sea. From here, you’ll cycle by the city’s largest marina, enjoy a ride along the famous city promenade, and end your trip in the city center.

This adventure starts with a short bus ride to the starting point on Marjan Hill. There you will be briefed in detail by your instructors regarding all the important trip information and safety advice for your activity. Paddle around Marjan hill, from Bene to Kašjuni beach. Along the way, you will stop for swimming, cliff jumping, and snorkeling. Enjoy some time to relax on Kašjuni beach. After this stop, circle back around the hill to Bene beach where you can stay after the tour to have lunch or coffee in the beautiful deep shade of Dalmatian pines. From Bene beach, there is a public bus going to Split city center so you can stay longer and return to the old town on your own.

After a short instructional and safety briefing you’ll head out in your sea kayak from the northern shore of Marjan peninsula on 4-hour guided paddling tour. Paddling west with your guide you’ll follow the beautiful shadow of Marjan Hill, the peninsula in the center of Split almost completely surrounded by the sea. The hill is 178 meters high and is completely covered by dense pine forest. Pass through the Kaštela channel, with the 7 villages of Kaštela to the north and the Kozjak Hill rising above them. You’ll have a view of Split from the north-west, and the 1,300-meter-high Mosor Hill. On the west, see the island of Čiovo on the horizon. After reaching the Marjan Cape, you’ll pass by the most beautiful part of the town, built in classic Mediterranean style. From this point you’ll paddle east as you admire the south shore of Marjan. Pass by fascinating pyramid rocks, and stop for a break to swim and enjoy refreshments. Further east, you’ll pass by Villa Dalmatia, the resort of former Yugoslav president Tito, where he hosted numerous world celebrities and politicians. Soon you’ll reach the Sustipan Cliff, jutting sharply up from the sea. For climbing enthusiasts, this is the perfect place for deep water soloing, climbing up from the water without protective gear, and finalizing the climb with a cliff dive into the sea! Continue paddling to the outer gates of the port, where you’ll be rewarded with fabulous views of the town promenade, a 1,700-year-old palace, the red roofs of the old town, Marjan Hill, and the other hills surrounding Split.

9. From Sinj: 30-Minute Private Flight over Split & Solin

This route starts by taking off from Sinj airport, flying over the city of Sinj and the beautiful field of Sinj. This paradise of water, fields, and stone hides some of the most endemic species of flora and fauna in Croatia. Landscapes and underground of the Cetina River are rich with everlasting, sage, heather, and thyme. You might even see the Sinj fortress which was historically a very important location. Heading on to Split where you'll be flying over Klis fortress. On the cliffs between Mosor and Kozjak stands the Klis fortress. It was built on an extraordinary strategic location that allowed military control over the Klis valley. Klis fortress has been beautifully preserved in whole. After flying past Klis fortress, you will see the city of Split, with its green oasis Marjan. You will even see the island of Brač and the island of Šolta. You will see amazing blue seas below! Split is the second biggest city in Croatia and the largest ferry port. It is the cultural and economic center of the region. Largest green surface in Split, Marjan was declared a Park Forest in 1964. According to archaeological findings, it was inhabited as early as prehistory. Pieces of prehistoric pottery were found here. Also discovered are remnants of the temple of Diana – the goddess of the hunt. Until the 15th century, Marjan was covered with forest. Due to expansions of settlements, wars, and Turkish conquests, arson, and clearing, Marjan became a barren wasteland in only two centuries. Reforestation commenced by planting the first pines in 1852. As years passed, the forest was renewed and the animals returned. The first sea aquarium was founded on Marjan in 1928. After flying over Split the end of your flight will take you over the small town of Solin. Solin was the capital of Roman providence. However, Solin (or Salona) disappeared at the end of the middle ages never to be renewed again. Today it is a town of rich cultural heritage from ancient Salona (forum with temples, amphitheater, and graveyards with Salonitan martyrs) to the Middle age, time of queen Jelena and Trpimirović dynasty, the coronation of Zvonimir as King of Dalmatia and Croatia. Located by the river Jadro, Solin today is and youngest town in Croatia. It has been visited by Pope John Paul II in 1998. Afterward, you will fly towards the western side of Split where you can see some magnificent beaches of Split. Popular sandy beaches, pebbled beaches, rocky places, all can be found in Split. The final step is heading back to the airport. This is one of a kind tour and you will see everything you have to see in only 30 minutes.

You start your Rickshaw tour at Riva, going over it to the ferry station, trough all important, old streets and squares in Diocletian Pallace and then heading for HNK - Croatian National Theatre. After that you are going to Stari plac, the oldest stadium in town and heading for Park-forest Marjan, for it's north side. Stop at beach Bene where you have free drink and you can take swim in see if you want. You continue over South side of Park-forest Marjan and coming to park Zvončac. After that you head over to the West coast and back to the starting point. Besides the guide you can have the audio presentation on four different languages: Croatian, English, German and French. Really lovely way to see some of Split’s popular beaches and very well organised. The guides were excellent and there was plenty of time for swimming and cliff jumping if you wanted to also.

Really fun, we couldn’t paddle back due to the wind, but instead we stopped at a beach, watched the sunset and they delivered us wine and our things! Really lovely people, strongly recommend

This experience has been unforgettable, both the team, super professional and very attentive, and the environment make this activity something essential. Totally recommended.
