1. St. Martin: Catamaran Snorkel Cruise with Open Bar and Lunch

Hop on board a spacious 65-foot sail catamaran and head out along the beautiful coasts of St. Martin on a day cruise. Lounge on the boat's nets with a cold drink from our open bar and enjoy snacks and music. Snorkel, swim, and stop for a lunch in Grand Case. Take off from the marina and earn your first drink of the day by helping the crew hoist the sail. Starting along the typical route, head down the south coast of St. Maarten, passing Maho and Mullet Bay. Head up the west coast towards Creole Rock, off the coast of Grand Case, for snorkeling and swimming. Snorkel gear along with float belts are provided. Once you've used up some energy snorkeling, it's time for lunch. Lunch is served at the local chicken and rib shacks in Grand Case. After about an hour, continue up the north side of the island and into Tintamarre. More swimming can be done here and you can even relax on Tintamarre’s warm sandy beach. On the way home, hoist the sails again and travel along the rugged, wind burnt east coast of the island when the winds are safe. Toast to your trip with drinks, music, and dancing on the ride home.

Sand Dollar Half Day Snorkel Cruise St. Martin

3. Sand Dollar Half Day Snorkel Cruise St. Martin

Sand Dollar is a great half day trip offering sightseeing, snorkeling and swimming. Captain Nevison Jr. is one of our most complimented staff members. The cruise takes guests through the lagoon, along our beautiful coastline and up to Creole Rock, off Grand Case. Creole Rock is a large rock formation with a reef extending out towards to the mainland, about a mile offshore. Waters are shallow and calm and provide excellent snorkeling. The boat picks up a mooring in a large sandy patch, in about 8' of water. A large cooler provides beers and sodas, and French baguette and Gouda cheese are served to hungry snorkelers. Guests should bring towels, hats and sun block, and have bathing suits on. Underwater cameras are sold in our boutique. Non swimmers are always welcome. The boat ride is enjoyable with great views of Anguilla from Creole Rock, and refreshments included on board. This trip is very popular in the afternoon at 2 pm for combo divers and snorkelers. Often a family member would like to accompany a diver and snorkel, Sand Dollar offers this opportunity. The site is a shallow one for divers, but the reef life is great with chances of seeing the rare frog fish, puffer fish, occasional barracuda and many different varieties of reef fish.

Full-Day Edge Ferry to Saba

4. Full-Day Edge Ferry to Saba

Named the Unspoiled Queen, Saba is an Eco-Paradise and quite the getaway for avid divers, hikers and nature enthusiasts. She is as beautiful on top as she is underneath. Edge ferries provide a regular schedule year round – Wed through to Sun each week. The journey is 75-90 minutes, and docks in Fort Bay, the only proper access to the sea on Saba. Taxis meet the passengers at the boat and tour up into the island. First stop is a village called The Bottom, on up to Windwardside, where the trails start for hiking and tours continue over through Hells Gate with a look down to the airport, precariously balanced out on a lava overflow. Taxi tours are the only way to get up and into the island as the walk up from Fort Bay to The Bottom is vertical and strenuous. The views are spectacular. The hiking in Saba's rain forest is not to be missed with the main trail, Mt. Scenery, being the most popular. Scuba Diving in Saba is world renowned. Many divers will ensure that a day trip to Saba is part of their dive vacation plan. All dive shops offer the highest standards of service and professionalism, and meet the divers as the ferry arrives. Saba is very unspoiled and a refreshing change from the cosmopolitan hustle and bustle that St. Maarten and St. Barts provide.

What people are saying about Marigot

This was the BEST tour of St.Maarten EVER and we have been there 10 previous times. Sunita was truly amazing. We learned more than ever. Saw things we never saw. Learned things we never knew. Saw the iguanas, both sides of the island. Visited Orient Beach. Went to Maho Beach and watched planes land overhead. By far the absolute best tour ever. And it was just our party of 7 in a great new well maintained van. Would never visit St Maarten again without a Sunita tour !! Worth every penny and then some. Fabulous service. Awesome communication from the minute we booked. Just top notch from beginning to end!!!

Most people who are able to swim a lap in an Olympic pool won't need the floats. Do bring a waterproof camera and cash to tip the captain. We gave $20 USD each. This is a really good experience for first-time snorkelers.

Brett and Swany were great! I felt comfortable the entire time. Brett was especially helpful at the start of the activity when I felt very nervous about staying underwater. If you have a chance to, book this tour!!

The most outstanding guide on the island. You can't go wrong! He is friendly, full of information on the island, and knows all the best places to go no matter what your preferences are. This guide was wonderful!

Top effort by the captain and his two assistants. What a service!!
