Full-Day Edge Ferry to Saba

1. Full-Day Edge Ferry to Saba

Named the Unspoiled Queen, Saba is an Eco-Paradise and quite the getaway for avid divers, hikers and nature enthusiasts. She is as beautiful on top as she is underneath. Edge ferries provide a regular schedule year round – Wed through to Sun each week. The journey is 75-90 minutes, and docks in Fort Bay, the only proper access to the sea on Saba. Taxis meet the passengers at the boat and tour up into the island. First stop is a village called The Bottom, on up to Windwardside, where the trails start for hiking and tours continue over through Hells Gate with a look down to the airport, precariously balanced out on a lava overflow. Taxi tours are the only way to get up and into the island as the walk up from Fort Bay to The Bottom is vertical and strenuous. The views are spectacular. The hiking in Saba's rain forest is not to be missed with the main trail, Mt. Scenery, being the most popular. Scuba Diving in Saba is world renowned. Many divers will ensure that a day trip to Saba is part of their dive vacation plan. All dive shops offer the highest standards of service and professionalism, and meet the divers as the ferry arrives. Saba is very unspoiled and a refreshing change from the cosmopolitan hustle and bustle that St. Maarten and St. Barts provide.

What people are saying about Marigot

They were punctual for the check in, I paid for the package for tour and lunch, and it was with a very nice gentleman from Saba, his name is Garvis. He explained a lot of history and show us the good spots from the island. Lunch was good at a nice restaurant. Boat ride was bumpy but it was tolerable. The crew were very nice and attentive. Saba is a very interesting place, it’s worthy exploring.

Amazing day trip to St Barths, ample time to explore the island at your own pace. We first took a stroll through Gustavia towards Shell Beach, and then took a car to Saint Jean where we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the beach, followed by swimming in the ocean. If you’re looking to do some shopping, the friendly staff recommended to do this first as many shops close between 1 and 3 pm.

Super nice crew, safe boat ride from St Martin to Saba island (but be prepared for some wild waves part of the journey), and Saba island - absolutely stunning! We did the Mount Scenery hike which was relatively easy however quiet steep. Wear comfortable shoes and bring water! I warmly recommend this tour ❤️

A wonderful day in St. Maarten with the perfect tour guide Shawn, who responded to all of our wishes. Thank you Shawn

Wonderful crew. Crossing to St. Barth was rough. Lot of sick people on board.
