What people are saying about Maras

Very fun. But be prepared for extreme dust! Wear clothes that are easily washable and you cannot wear them again before washing. We took a light jacket but I wish I’d have brought a spare pair of trousers. The quad bikes themselves were very easy to use and we travelled 8 miles to Maras and the guide explained it to us and then 80 miles back at a top speed of 30mph. It is bumpy but that’s part of the fun. They then drove us to Moray salt mines and the guide showed us around.

It was my first time on an ATV, so wasn’t really sure how it’s going to go but it was super fun! Highly recommend it if you’ve never done it before. It’s safe and you quickly figure things out. Bring some clothes that can get dirty because otherwise you’ll be covered in dust head to toe. You’ll visit the salt mine by bus, there’s way too much traffic there to do it on an ATV.

Pickup was a bit late but is to be expected with the amount of people that showed up and how narrows the roads are. Other than that amazing tour! Christian our tour guide was very knowledgeable and spoke good English so it made our tour even better! Quad bikes were really easy to use as well, highly recommend !

Good activity, very nice and concerned guides. The ATVs were in good condition. For some reason they changed the pickup at the hotel for a meeting point and they picked us up 40 minutes late.

I really enjoyed the tour, the guide was very good, I received support to pilot the ATV and I had a great experience with the search van and the explanations.
