Full description
Start with pickup from your hotel and travel head by car to the port. Jump on board a comfortable and fast boat to see the port of Manaus and its surroundings.  Visit the famous Meeting of Waters, an impressive phenomenon where two rivers run side by side without mixing their waters. Your professional guide will explain the reason for this unique occurrence. Head to the floating village where the houses, school, churches, bars, and restaurants are built on logs that float on the lake.  Disembark at a floating fish farm and have an encounter with the largest species of freshwater fish in the world, the famous pirarucu. Play with them with a fishing rod without hooks.  Hop back on the boat and ride upstream towards the Januari Lake, notable for its abundance of waterlilies. Cross a suspended walkway which is as high as the canopy of the trees, where you will spot the largest species of tree in the Amazon. After some time exploring, return back to Manaus.

Joao was an excellent guide and is quite knowledgeable about the rivers and other aspects of the tour. He was very flexible with our schedule and did not rush anything. Very friendly too.

Everything went as planned. Much better than the similar ship bought excursion. No negative comments at all.

The guide, Brando, was excellent — a great command of English and very friendly. The boat driver was very helpful getting us in and out of the boat and very patient with us.
