    See one of Mallorca's main attractions and learn about the history of the island, its first inhabitants, the formation, and the discovery of the Hams Caves. Situated in Porto Cristo, the caves are renowned throughout the world for their peculiar fish-hook-shaped formations. The round cave is a vast open area that includes a spectacular botanical garden and is full of life, with many species of free-flying birds that are native to the island of Mallorca. It has a special micro-climate as the natural temperature is below that of the exterior meaning it has its own particular vegetation. In the Blue Cave, with its spectacular new blue lighting using cutting-edge led technology, you can enjoy the educational documentary "Discovering the past". Admire Samson’s pillars, the plains of Fra Mauro and the Pit of hell, where, in a natural auditorium, they will present Genesis, the history of life, a frenzied time-lapse from the Big Bang to the present day, projected onto the very rock-face of the cave. Visit the main cave, made up of 12 galleries, and enjoy the musical show on the underground lake.

    The cave and it's history is a MUST of you're visiting Palma de Mallorca! The atmosphere, walking among ancient caves and enjoying an underground concert followed by a boat trip on water is the perfect way to spend a few hours either in the morning or afternoon. Do not miss this place if you're ever on the island! :)

    The process went smoothly: show your electronic ticket at the cash register, exchange it for a paper ticket and off you go. The tours start at short intervals, so that the waiting time was very short.. the visit is very worthwhile! I have been to many stalactite caves in Europe, but this was one of the most interesting. I could have missed the films presented, but many of the other visitors were more enthusiastic about them. All in all a very worthwhile trip.

    Bonitas cuevas para ver durante 45 min aproximadamente. Tiene muchas escaleras por lo que para gente mayor puede ser un poco duro. Yo había leido que era muy fácil de visitar para todos los públicos y no lo creo así. Las cuevas están bien iluminadas, acaba con un pequeño concierto de 5 min dentro de la cueva que se hace muy agradable. Creo que estas cuevas no son tan famosas como las del Drach y son muy parecidas.
