Full description
Discover the history along with the most emblematic sites in the center of Palma de Mallorca on a 60-minute guided walking tour. Depart from Parc de la Mar and all the major historical spots in the unique city of Palma. Get amazed by the beauty of the statue of the Mallorcan slinger, a bronze sculpture located in the beautiful gardens of S'Hort del Rei, gardens of medieval origin. You will learn about the history of the Torre dels Caps (tower of heads), which owes its name to the sinister fact that the executed heads of the persons were hung there as a public warning in the Middle Ages. The current tower stands in the Palacio Real de La Almudaina. Next, explore the narrow streets of the historic center and other places such as the Plaza de la Reina, the Parliament, or the Plaza de Cort. With the help of an expert guide know about the typical "Mallorcan patio" of a manor house. Admire the stunning beauty of the Cathedral of Mallorca, which dominates the Bay of Palma and is an icon of the island's historical and cultural heritage. Get a guided tour of the beautiful Cathedral and explore various places like San Sebastián Altar, Gate Puerta Mayor, Central Nave, Rose window, San Bernat Altar (Rubió i Bellver), Bishop Torrella Tomb, Organ, Main Altar (Gaudí), and the Altar of the Blessed Sacrament (Miquel Barceló).

Well organized tour of about 2 hours with a real Mallorcan guide, the legendary TONI. Although the official language of the tour is Spanish, before the departure groups of compatriots are created and you are entrusted to a guide who speaks English or, as in the case of TONI, also Italian. The tour in Italian is therefore possible (with a little luck) even if only the Spanish language will appear in the booking ticket. Admission to the extraordinary Gothic cathedral is highly recommended (also because with this tour you skip the long queue in the sun). Definitely recommended, both for professionalism and organization. Well done! PS. The city of Palma de Mallorca is wonderful, do not miss the opportunity to visit it, at least for a few hours.

Guide was very good but the tour only lasted just over an hour when it was advertised as two hours. Also, we nearly missed it as the booking information didn’t explain that guides would be wearing ‘City Experience’ shirts and the pick up point wasn’t exactly where we were told. We only found out when we went to ask them if they knew where our tour was five minutes before it was due to depart!

Boring guide, like a history lesson at school. City walk was nothing. Visit the cathedral ... you learn more with the explanation on the signs than with the long-winded explanation of the guide. He has wonderfully managed to lose everyone's attention. Too bad because it is a beautiful city and cathedral.
