Full description

Discover the history of the most emblematic sites in the center of Palma on a 60-minute guided walking tour. Depart from Parc de la Mar and all the major historical spots in the unique city of Palma.

Get amazed by the beauty of the statue of the Mallorcan slinger, a bronze sculpture located in the beautiful gardens of S'Hort del Rei, gardens of medieval origin. Learn about the history of the Torre dels Caps (tower of heads), which owes its name to the sinister fact that the executed heads of the persons were hung there as a public warning in the Middle Ages. The current tower stands in the Palacio Real de La Almudaina. Next, you can explore the narrow streets of the historic center and other places such as the Plaza de la Reina, the Parliament, or the Plaza de Cort.

With the help of an expert guide, know about the typical "Mallorcan patio" of a manor house. Admire the stunning beauty of the Cathedral of Mallorca, which dominates the Bay of Palma and is an icon of the island's historical and cultural heritage. Get a guided tour of the Cathedral and explore various places like San Sebastián Altar, Gate Puerta Mayor, Central Nave, Rose window, San Bernat Altar (Rubió i Bellver), Bishop Torrella Tomb, Organ,Main Altar (Gaudí), and theAltar of the Blessed Sacrament (Miquel Barceló). Depart to the picturesque town of Valldemossa, in the Serra de Tramuntana, a World Heritage Site. Once there, visit the best-known places in Valldemossa such as the Cartuja Gardens, the Plaza Mayor, the Mirador des Lledoners and the Palacio Rei Don Sancho façade.

Great guide for the Palma and Cathedral tour very educational. She was able to get us through both tours quickly. Amazing old city and Cathedral. Highly recommend this tour! The bus tour to Valldemosa was interesting but too fast to spend any time there to actually enjoy the city. The tour was multilingual- Spanish, French & English. So the guide was going back and forth through 3 languages. We missed most to what she said. A learning experience for us in terms of what to look out for when booking a tour.

tour was very informative and gave time for you to do things on your own. Visiting Valldemossa is a MUST DO! Very beautiful and you get to see where Chopin the composer boarded for some time (extra payment for the monastery tour). Cathedral is BREATHTAKING! Would recommend guides assist better with connecting tourists to the transportation area for travel to Valldemossa.
