Caminito del rey is a perfect natural attraction to visit, suitable for a half-day site-seeing trip from Malaga. The meeting point is in the easy reachable location (Malaga city hall), and our travel guide Alvaro was very recognizable person, with bright personality and profound sense of humor. The tour was accompanied by the second guide Jele, who is also nice and knowledgeable person. The tour group was divided into two fractions (English and Spanish) on sites, so we could easily follow the story about the location geology, history and geography. It has to be noted that Caminito is a breathtaking location, but maybe it is not recommended for somebody who is afraid of heights. After the tour, we had some time to eat at the local restaurant or to swim in the lake. 5/5 for the experience, especially because of the nature and our two great tour guides.

We had Alvaro and Pablo as guides. They were great: reassuring, friendly and everything they told us about the history of del Caminito was all the more attractive. The caminito is an activity to do if you are in the area, the landscapes are magnificent, you will keep very good memories of it. The caminito is culturally very rich and even more so with these guides. The course is accessible to everyone, do not be afraid of the few kilometers announced.

This was the best guided trip we took during our 10 day vacation in Spain. The travel agency (MSE) was professional and easy to communicate with. We were picked up right on time at our designed pick up spot, and our guide Alvaro was incredibly knowledgeable and fun. He was truly the highlight of the experience. Once we arrived, we made a stop at a small restaurant to grab breakfast/go to the restroom ahead of starting the tour. Once we arrived on site, our tour guide handled all logistics involving the check-in at Caminito. The entire hike was about 3 hours long, with stops to learn more about the area. Alvaro also ensured our group had enough time to take photos, and continued to check up on each of us as the day progressed. I appreciated the 1 on 1 attention, as well as Alvaro’s ability to make the tour engaging and personalized to each family there. Once the tour ended, we were brought back to a restaurant for lunch with the option to swim at the bottom of the lake at the site.
