Beautiful day. A big thank you to our guide Francisco! Very professional and it shows how much he loves his job! He explained everything to us perfectly and we learned a lot about the history of the caminito. I suffer from vertigo and was quite worried, but the road is safe and the walk is not too difficult, ca. 2-2.30 hours of walking with a crazy view! Highly recommended! I recommend that you bring a bottle of water and some snacks, you can buy food, but only at the end of the tour.

Great way to get to Caminito del Rey from Malaga old town. The bus was prompt and ready to leave on time from the NH Motel near Cortes Ingles. The bus was clean and air-conditioned and there were plenty of seats. Our guide was on top of everything and wasted no time getting us our gear so that we could begin the hike quickly before other groups. Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun. The hike itself was amazing and I would definitely do it again, I like that this tour left early so we got there before the crowds and also before it was hot.

A fantastic hike, but we had a hard time understanding the guide - so we chose to go on our own. The route itself is 5 km, but with a bit of road both before and after, we ended up walking approx. 8 km. It is not a difficult hike, but it is good to have water and snacks with you, which can be bought at a small restaurant, which we stopped at, right at the beginning of the route.
