Have an adventure along the El Caminito del Rey and walk 100 meters above the Guadalhorce River. Discover the Conde de Guadalhorce Dam, Desfiladero de los Gaitanes Canyon, and Guadalhorce River's history and importance to El Caminito del Rey.

Meet your guide and board your bus for a ride towards Conde de Guadalhorce Dam. Begin your walking tour and learn how the dam is Málaga's main water reserve. Hear about the history of the Desfiladero de los Gaitanes and how the canyon was carved by the Guadalhorce River from your guide. Prepare to test your nerves on a high-up adventure along El Caminito del Rey. Follow the path which is about 3 kilometers long and less than 1 meter wide, hanging 100 meters above the Guadalhorce River. A unique experience everyone should try out if staying in Malaga. Our guide Hose Miguel was excellent - provided a lot of information during the hike and had patience while we were stopping to take photos. Reminder - wear comfortable, hike-friendly shoes

We were so lucky that our guide for the hike was Ian. He is by far the BEST guide I ever had. We did this hike in February and it was a bit cold but he was always mindful about this. He is very funny and shared with us a lot of info about the history, geology, flora and fauna of the place. He is a very smart guy, and he left all the other groups of people walk by us, so we will have all the space and time we wanted to take pictures. The place itself is amazing but Ian just took the whole thing to another level.

This is one of the best activities I have done and so well organised, our guide Rachel was fantastic and the scenery oh wow. The walkway felt secure, though admittedly if you are scared of heights it might be a challenge but so worth it, we started via the South side and there was a slight incline to go up to get to the start.
