What people are saying about Maia, São Miguel island

I highly recommend this tour. Mario knows his island very well, especially the area of the volcano. We first ate queijadas, which were delicious. We have been on several miradouros where the views were magnificent. Mario is a very nice guide, who cares about our well-being. Not being able to eat the cozido, he directly found a solution for us instead. The Terra Nostra park is beautiful, there are also the thermal baths in it (10€/p). The caldera das Furnas and the city are very interesting, we can feel that the volcano is alive. We ended this excellent day with a good tea from the production plant itself. I highly recommend this agency!
