Hear the stories behind the wines as you sample their famous blends in heritage stables. Admire stunning vineyard views while you enjoy some morning tea. The next stop is a visit to Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop which was founded by Maggie Beer, a cook and writer. Have the option to purchase a glass of wine from the impressive wine selection, or enjoy a coffee accompanied with their popular Chocolatier (chocolate port). Everything delightful. The staff were exceptional. The food delicious. We had a cooking demo and that was delightful. A wonderful distraction of Maggie Beer walking past our windows during the demo. Afterwards we ate the result of the cooking demo and enjoyed tasting four wines. Then Gin tasting which resulted in the purchase of a beautiful gin. After the liqueurs we went on our way with an awesome platter of cheese, pate, salami, crackers, dried apricots and pears. Also a bottle of wine each. What a wonderful experience, the highlight of our visit to Adelaide.

The cooking class, wine tasting, gin, plus the food that was cooked in our class was all wonderful. Then we had a platter with all sorts of goodies, came home with a free bottle of wine. Cost was $110, very good value, we also saw Maggie Beer having a coffee on the deck outside the cooking class. She distracted most of us.

We enjoyed this well organised and efficient tour booking and especially enjoyed the company of our tour guide Peter who was very personable, knowledgeable and informative. It was such a fun day and we will highly recommend this tour.

A very enjoyable day ably lead by Colin. Colin was an excellent driver and host who made the whole group feel welcome. His knowledge of the local area was terrific.

Great tour with a very knowledgeable driver. Would recommend.
