Alfredo and Miguel were great friendly guides Alfredo spoke very loud (good); Miguel was softer and needed to be louder. Miguel gave us a tour while smoking which we were bothered by (looks like a normal thing for Spanish people). At departure, we arrived at the meeting location first (20 minutes before the time) at the cross, but 30 minutes later found the waiting line a little away from the meeting point with a person who only had the yellow jacket around his waist.

Segovia is a beautiful city. Best to spend the day there and not go to Avila. At the castle be sure to rent the audio guides. The tour gave us good basic information but if you want more detail consider a local guide. Our guide was a character and we enjoyed the day. The walking guide map at the information center was very helpful.
