We decided to book a guided tour so we could avoid the long lines to get in. Our guide Lydia meet us nearby and introduced herself and had us all introduce ourselves which was nice. The tour was great and Lydia did well at keeping on time and avoiding the sometimes crowed rooms. We enjoyed it very much. We would book again.

Our guide Rocío was really funny and entertaining and interactive. We loved the jokes and all her facial expressions. When you have a dynasty of kings all called Carlos and Felipe (like the Habsburgs), things can be confusing. But Rocío made history simple, and that's the secret of a great tour. Very well prepared, she answered all my questions. Excellent English accent +++. Even if you can visit the Royal Palace on your own, I recommend this guided tour: you get a lot more out of your visit. (20/05/2022 at 10am)

We enjoyed the Palace tour very much. Our guide was Rocia who was knowledgeable and entertaining. The Palace itself was beautiful and contained lovely art and furnishings - just what you look for in a palace! Having a private guide provided a personal touch to the experience and created a good flow for moving through the place. Rocia’s commentary was fascinating and informative, and she was able to answer all questions the group asked.
