This tour is great for getting to know Madrid’s history in a short amount of time. We got to walk around like locals getting to know the various neighborhoods of Madrid and also got to see tourist highlights (like the palace) towards the end. Only gave it 4 stars instead of five because it felt a bit rushed and focused a bit too much on technicalities in the history, but it was still a fun and informative tour.

Our guide Enrique is very knowledgeable , devoted and enthusiastic! He provided a very comprehensive historical insight into Madrid’s monuments and also lots of tips for great local eateries. He even treated us with nice cocktails in the Plaza Mayor! Definitely a good way to start your visit in Madrid!

This is the best tour I have ever taken in all my travels. Abdul was a phenomenal guide, and we bonded right away. His empathy and understanding of others made me feel right at home in Madrid. The walk through the Lava pies neighborhood with it display of contemporary culture was a highlight. To see art and hear music by young Madrilenos was inspiring. The walk through Reitro park with its birds, plants made me feel like a local. A refreshing drink by the lake ended a perfect day. Highly Highly recommended.
