Great tour of highlights near Madrid. We were only going to be in Madrid for 3 nights and needed to pack as much as possible so I booked this tour. It seemed like a lot but it was very doable and an easy pace. They gave us time for coffee/snack, had a great lunch at the restaurant they took us to and enjoyed the places we went to without feeling rushed. If you’re on short time then it’s worth it. If I had more time I would visit Toledo on its own because I would like to spend more time there and then another day take the Segovia and Avila tour. At the restaurant we tried the shareable meal for 2 referred to as desgustacion and it gave us variety to try typical food items and the dessert arroz con leche was delicious. This was a small group tour and we enjoyed meeting the people that were there. Our tour guide Diego was very nice and knowledgeable.

The tour is a great way to get a taste of Toledo and Segovia if you only have one day. Each city really deserves more time on your agenda, but if you are limited on time, this is a very good option. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly and did a good job of telling the history of each location. The stop at Avila is nice and the walled city is beautiful. It is a long day with a few hours in the van to transit so be prepared. The good news is that the countryside between Toledo, Avila, and Segovia is absolutely gorgeous.

Estuvo muy bueno. El guía fue muy atento y contribuyó a que fuera una buena experiencia. Las ciudades buenísimas, Toledo es magnífica, las murallas de Avila y el castillo en Segovia son bellísimos. Hicimos varias paradas muy buenas, lo disfrutamos mucho. Eso sí… un tanto caluroso… hay que caminar bastante y bueno… llegamos de regreso a las 7pm. Pero era parte de la dinámica. Recomendado!!
