Megan was an amazing guide. She was a fountain of knowledge about Lyon, past and present. She was clearly prepared with lots of photos and historical photos to whip out as she presented. The shops we visited were top-notch and the tastings were plentiful. You don't need lunch after the tour. In fact, we skipped dinner.

Vincent was very knowledgeable. While we know that everyone gets the same tour, he made us feel as if we were getting deep secrets, and he was both smart and casual. He is, in my estimation, the best guide for any tasting tour that I’ve ever had. And I’ve had such tours in several European countries and on 5 of the 7 continents. The tastings themselves were awesome, and we actually came back later to buy handmade silk scarves from the artisan weavers. The historic details were delicious. I highly recommend this tour.

We had an amazing time on this excellent food and history tour of Lyon old town. The 5 places we visited were all of exceptional quality and gave us a good insight into the gastronomy of Lyon-we loved that they were all local and away from tourist traps. Emeric was an incredibly knowledgable host and we learned so much.
