Jorge is no ordinary tour guide! He is a local who is passionate about history, culture, languages and all things Lyonnaise. He speaks five languages, knows everything there is to know about the ancient Roman sites, galleries, the Basilica, Cathedral and all the ‘hidden gems’ that other guides aren’t aware of like the ‘cite creations’ and ‘traboules’. Extremely personable, be recommended traditional ‘bouchons’ (restaurants) to visit and helped me with my French. . If you are in Lyon for 2-3 days and want to see the highlights, Jorge is for you!

We had a fascinating 4hrs English tour at Lyon with Monika. Monika is very knowledgeable and took us through the different parts of the lovely city. She showed us hidden gems and it was so nice that we asked her to extend the tour for another hour. Thank you, Monika.
